Project Objectives:

The project explored material properties through construction. Bamboo and mud techniques formed shelters, including bamboo splitting and mud application on domes.
Rammed earth and wattle-daub methods tested concrete, wood, and mud. A stone foundation supported rammed earth walls, followed by wooden frames for wattle-daub. Wooden beams supported bamboo and mud floors.
